Visitors with reduced mobility

 

ARRIVING AT THE MUSEUM
Disabled parking spaces are available near to the museum. You can download the map at the bottom of this page.
The accessible entrance is located on the ground floor, to the right of the external stairway at the front of the building.
 
WELCOME TO THE MUSEUM
The building is accessible to visitors with reduced mobility: all the galleries, corridors and access routes, auditorium, garden, café, educational workshops, lifts and toilets have been adapted for wheelchair users, except the hall on Level 1. You can download a map of the museum at the bottom of this page.
The auditorium has 5 wheelchair spaces.
The public amenities are located on Level 0: ticket desk, shop, disabled toilets and cloakroom.
Lifts to Level 1 are located on both sides of the Level 0 reception area.
The garden and café are located on Level 1. Disabled toilets are available in the café. There is lift access to the mezzanine.
Emotional support animals accompanying visitors with a disability are welcome on presentation of a medical certificate.
Our reception staff have been trained to provide the best possible welcome to visitors with reduced mobility. They will be happy to provide any information or help that you need. 
 
VISITING THE MUSEUM
To make your visit as enjoyable as possible, the following equipment is available on loan from the reception desk on Level 0. No prior booking required. Proof of identity must be shown.

  • 4 wheelchairs
  • Folding seats

 
For unguided tours, the new Petit Palais visitor app for the permanent collections can be used remotely or in the museum on Android or IOS. Free download from AppStore or Google Play.
Guided tours  relating to our permanent collections and exhibitions are accessible to people with reduced mobility. They can be arranged upon request for groups (up to 12 people with a maximum of 4 wheelchairs).
